The C.A.R. is an organisation founded in 1974. It was set up in order to welcome young people to Geneva and to give them useful information about the city. We work alongside the Canton of Geneva, as well as the tourist office of Geneva. One of our main goals is to provide information about lodging and the cultural life of the city for people on a small budget. Our target audience are young tourists and backpapers, but we also aim to give information to a wider audience who appreciate our local knowledge of the city.
The tourist bus is located just outside of Cornavin station, from mid-June to mid-September, between the hours of 9am and 9pm.
We publish a C.A.R. information brochure (1.5 Mo), which is full of great tips. You can find it in the tourist bus as well as at lots of other points around the city.
